NYSC Mega Camp: Permanent Orientation camp commissioned by Obiano

Mega Camp: Permanent Orientation camp commissioned in Anambra State

The National Youth Service Corp (NYSC): one of the nation’s NYSC mega structure has been commissioned, the Permanent Orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in anambra state has been commissioned by Governor Willie Obiano.

The mega structure is fully equipped with state of the art-facility that can house both foreign and international graduates

Situated at Mbaukwu/Umuawulu, the newly built camp can now be used to host corps members in their thousands without hitches. And can also be used to camp people in any national or international events the state may be hosting in the nearest future

Brigadier General Shaibu Ibrahim, Director General, NYSC and the state Commissioner for Youth Entrepreneurship and Cteative Economy, Mr Afam Mbanefo could not hold their happiness as the beautiful camp came into reality after many years of construction

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare, Speaker of the State house of Assembly, Rt Hon. Uchenna Okafor, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Primus Odili, among others were Present at the commissioning ceremony

The Mbaukwu/Umuawulu community, housing the newly built camp, will experience massive development and both in infrastructure and human capital, the governor added, representing the beautiful and industrious people of anambra state

Recall that the foundation stone of the NYSC facility was laid by the present administration on 15th February, 2015.
