IEC Electoral Staff Final List of Shortlisted Candidates for Training 2024: The management of South Africa IEC Electoral Staff wishes to inform applicants of the South Africa IEC Electoral Staff Jobs that the final list of candidates is now online

All applicants are advised to check their shortlisting status and proceed to training for electoral staff job any shortlisted candidates who fail to avail themselves for training will be disqualified and replaced immediately

This job seeks to contribute towards strengthening electoral democracy processes by assisting in coordinating and implementing the voting and results programs of the Electoral Commission at the voting station level.

We are a permanent body created by the Constitution to manage free and fair elections at all levels of government. Although publicly funded and accountable to parliament, we are independent of the government.

IEC Electoral Staff Final List of Candidates

Shortlisted Candidates will be trained to carry out the commission’s Mandates and duties;

Declare the results of those elections;

Compile and maintain a voters’ roll.

Compile and maintain a register of parties;

Undertake and promote research into electoral matters;

Develop and promote the development of electoral expertise and technology in all spheres of government;

Continuously review electoral laws and proposed electoral laws, and make recommendations;

Promote voter education;

Declare the results of elections for national, provincial, and municipal legislative bodies within seven days; and

Appoint appropriate public administrations in any sphere of government to conduct elections when necessary.

Manage elections of national, provincial, and municipal legislative bodies;

Ensure that those elections are free and fair;
