No fewer than 14 States across Nigeria, will benefit from Heritage Bank’s N41Billion wheat project. Farmers from these states will have all the funds needed to grow wheat for both domestic and international market

Heritage Bank in collaboration with Nigeria’s Apex bank has raised N14Billion for wheat production in 14 states in Nigeria
The collaboration is mainly to complement “Wheat Seed Multiplication Project under the CBN’s Brown Revolution Initiative in order to ensure due diligence on loan administration, monitoring, and recovery, which would bring about an increase in the domestic production of wheat and close the wide supply gap in the Nigerian agricultural space”
The Funds will be disbursed to farmers that have registered with the Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange.
