How to register as a driver
If you want to register as a driver, follow the two steps below
Step One
Download the inDrive app from your Appstore or Google Play, open it up and tap ‘Switch to driver’
Step Two
Complete a quick online registration by providing us with the following
Any means of identification
Police Clearance Certificate
Driver License (picture of you and your driver license)
How to Get A Police Clearance Certificate
Step 1:
Go to the Criminal Registry Office in Alagbon, Lagos State, or other state command headquarters, and ask to get a ‘Police Character Clearance Certificate’ (PCCC)
Step 2:
Pay the charge fee and collect the application form. Fill it out with a black or blue pen and attach a passport-style photo of you.
Step 3:
Collect your certificate. That’s all! If you applied at the Criminal Registry in Lagos, you can get it within a day.
It could take a couple of days if you applied at the state command office.
Note:
It can also take a few minutes for the forensic officer to analyze and run a full check on your fingerprints and the details you submitted.
