Kano State Withdraws from Protest, Declares Support for Sadiya: The Npower September protest has witnessed another setback as Kano state Npower volunteers may have withdrawn from the protest following promises made by Sadiya Umar Farouq regarding payment of 5 months backlogs and exit packages

shunned any forms of revolt against the central government headed by Mr. Buhari, President Federal Republic of Nigeria

As of this time of this report, we are yet to confirm this latest development from the state npower executives and representatives

What we do know is that, some Kano state exited volunteers will not participate in the September 20th protest

The statement reads:

“We the Npower beneficiaries of Kano state hereby wishes to notify the general public and our members that we are not part of the ongoing planned protest in respect to the payment of beneficiaries’ 5months backlog or any exit package.

“We wish to state that we are not part of it and we will not be part of it and we are not in support of the national protest”

“If you will all recall some time ago there was a verification of all beneficiaries with this problem and the authorities in charge have promised to see that this problem is solved. So therefore we will allow the process to go and not interfere in it.

“We the beneficiaries of Kano state Npower, we are law abiding and good citizens of this our dear country.

“So we enjoyed all our members to stay calm and desist from this act as this will not yield any positive result and let the authorities in charge do there job”
