N-power Protest: No Protest (Stay Calm) – Npower National Chairman: Amidst the growing outcry from exited volunteers of the N-power programme to embark on a massive national protest in the Nation’s Capital City-Abuja, Npower National Chairman has urged all volunteers to “stay calm”.

No protest has been thought of now, this is because, the Honorable Minister. Umar Sadiya has vividly encouraged volunteers to wait a little, as plan to incorporate them into MDAs is in progress, hence the delay witnessed

In Sadiya’s statement “Despite this, the exited beneficiaries are advised to exercise more patience and await the result of the efforts being made by the Honorable Minister who is currently engaging various MDAs including the CBN and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to ensure that the eligible exited beneficiaries are transited to government progammes or even employment where available.

We have directed Focal Persons of NSIPs in all the states to submit an updated list and details of the exited N-Power beneficiaries that are interested in participating in the transition plans of the ministry” the Honourable Minister stated”

States Representatives press release in Illorin, the kwara state capital; emphatically stressed the need to wait for this plan to be unveiled before venturing into plan B

“We implore the Federal Government to quickly implement the transition program for the exited N-Power Volunteers latest by 1st October, 2020 to reduce the suffering already meted on us.

Therefore, we enjoin volunteers across the country to remain calm, focus and steadfast as we await the next line of action after October 1st speech of President Muhammadu Buhari. By then, we would have known the plan the government has for us”- Npower Reps Press Release

Dispite the October deadline given, the state representative have also consider other activities the government is battling with in the country, enhance more time is given to the government to put thing togather
