Npower Protest: We Are Not Part of the Planned Protest- Kano State

Npower Protest: We Are Not Part of the Planned Protest- Kano State: The Kano state Npower volunteers may have withdrawn from the protest following promises made by Sadiya Umar Farouq regarding payment of 5 months backlogs and exit loan package for disengaged volunteers

In a statement released by some volunteers distancing themselves from the ongoing planned protest.

Shunned any forms of revolt against President Buhari’s Ministers-Kano State

As of this time of this report, we are yet to confirm this latest development from the state npower executives and representatives

What we do know is that some Kano state exited volunteers will not be part of the protest following some distress statements below

The statement reads:

“We the Npower beneficiaries of Kano state hereby wish to notify the general public and our members that we are not part of the ongoing planned protest with respect to the payment of beneficiaries’ 5-month backlog stipend

“We wish to state that we are not part of it and we will not be part of it and there is no any of our members here that traveled to Abuja for this protest.

“If you will all recall some time ago there was a verification of all beneficiaries with this problem and the authorities in charge have promised to see that this problem is solved. So therefore we will allow the process to go and not interfere in it.

“We the beneficiaries of Kano state Npower, are law-abiding and good citizens of this dear country.

“So we enjoyed all our members to stay calm and desist from this act as this will not yield any positive result and let the authorities in charge do their job”

Signed

Assalafi isa Ibrahim

President Npower Association Kano state
