Old National ID Card No Longer Useful, How To Get The New One: Holders of the old National ID are to visit any of the NIMC center or any network operators’ center to obtain a new national ID card as directed by the Government

There is a new update, and every old card holder must update to a new one, the Federal government warned

This will aid the sim linkage currently going on, as the Federal Government  postponed the ongoing registration of National Identification Number and Subscriber Identity Module integration to April 6, 2021

This extension is coming at a time when millions of Nigerians are yet to get their NIN and link to their SIM numbers

At of the time of this report, millions of Nigerian still queue-up at various NIN offices and other designation centers to get their NIN

Ikechukwu Adinde, Director, Public Affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission, announced the extension of the exercise to April 6, 2021. “He said the new deadline was now April 6, 2021” The previous deadline of February 9th is no longer feasible as many are yet to get registered
