Presenting the 2022/2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) on Thursday in Abuja, the Chairman, House Committee on Finance, James Faleke, disclosed this during a public hearing

MR. James Faleke expresses his disappointment on the constant borrowing attitude of the Federal Government, in his precise words:

“We are not you happy the way Nigeria is borrowing N5.62 trillion and we have some fund somewhere staying fallow without being used.

“For God sake, let us build this country together for the sake of all of us,’’ James Faleke added

James Faleke also encouraged the country to explore other sources of generating revenue to meet up with the country’s expenditures

The Federal House of Representatives is poised to see how agencies of government save money, James Faleke continued
