Unpaid March Stipends:Technical Problem Resolved, Payment Starts Soon: “As soon as the pandemic is over, we will revert to the previous payment platform, where states will monitor and trigger payment via NEFT- which is National Electronic Funds Transfer, which is processed via NIBSS A reliable source revealed”

While some npower volunteers got their March stipends last week, a handful of volunteers did not receive theirs, this according to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Umar Sadiyat Farouq, is an issue that will soon be resolved. Not all beneficiaries of the Npower programme got their March stipends last week; Umar Sadiyat Farouq confirmed this, in her last interview with NTA, she noted that, there are technical problems that arose from the new payment platform used for payment

Many unpaid volunteers have expressed shocked, thinking they have been dissolved from the programme, but the matter is far from that, it’s just a technical problem faced from the new payment platform

In some states, more 45% of the volunteers are yet to receive their March Stipends, for instant, Jigawa state, North East, 39% of Volunteers are yet to receive their March Stipends

Payment Estimate according to Banks In Jigawa State!,

1:- First Bank 35% paid, 75% not Paid

2:- Polaris Banks 30%,   70% not Paid

3:- Gt Bank          90%,   10% not Paid

4:- Access Bank 95%,     5% not Paid

5:- UBA Bank 25%,      75% not Paid

6:- Zanit Bank 70,          30% not Paid

But a reliable source from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, told volunteers that the New Payment Platform had issues which have been resolved, and that volunteers will get their pay any moment from now
