In a press statement, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development disclosed plans to start urgent payment of stipend to applicants of the Work Experience Program (WEP).
Currently, tracking and reconciliation have been concluded on the payments will massively follow any time soon
The Ministry had paid the sum of Eighty Million, Four Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira (N80,460,000) to Two Thousand, Six Hundred and Eighty-Two (2,682) internship participants under this program last August and September.

These payments covered the participants in both the North and South.
The Work Experience Program (WEP) Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development is a three-month internship program that provides participants with the opportunity to gain relevant first-hand knowledge, develop skills and workplace competencies that will enhance their employability.
